CERTIFIED
DOCUMENTS - GENERAL INFORMATION
A
document/certificate is a written, drawn, presented, or memorialized
representation of thought, often the manifestation of non-fictional, as well as
fictional, content. The word originates from the Latin Documentum, which
denotes a "teaching" or "lesson": the verb doceō denotes "to teach". In the past,
the word was usually used to denote written proof useful as evidence of a truth
or fact.
A
document is an original or official paper relied upon as the basis, proof, or
support of anything else, including any writing, book, or other instrument
conveying information pertinent to such proof or support any material substance
on which the thoughts of men are represented by any species of conventional
mark or symbol. A certificate is a document containing a certified statement.
The document is to record in documents while the certificate is to supply with
a certificate, especially following certification. A document can’t be said as
a certificate, but a certificate can be said as document.

the factors of ‘knowledge, talent and skill’
