COURSE
COMPLETION CERTIFICATE
A
course completion certificate is a certificate issued to the student by the
college, stating that he has completed the course after attending all the
classes and or final semester examinations. It is given to all the students who
completed the course, not bothering about the pass status in the semester
examination, they wrote. This is the record proof that the person completed the
course within the particular duration. Generally is said that the person can go
for the job by using this certificate and is valid for 6 months from the date
of given. Note: This certificate is not generally asked for the job recruitment
application.
TRANSFER
CERTIFICATE (TC)
A
transfer certificate (TC) is a certificate issued to the student by college,
stating that he has been transferred and relieved from the college, after
completing the course and exams or not. It is given after the examinations are
over to all the students of the exams. This certificate is not generally asked
for the job recruitment application, but during the higher studies, it is asked
to the institution where the student is admitting.
CONDUCT
CERTIFICATE (CC)
A
conduct certificate is a certificate issued to the student by college, stating
about the conduct and behavior of the student during the course duration,
whether it was good or not. Generally it is given with the transfer certificate
to all the students completed the course. This certificate is not generally
asked for the job recruitment application and during the higher studies.
GRADE
SHEET
A
grade sheet is a sheet of marks and grades, obtained by the students, issued to
the student by the University of the College, stating that he has scored the
following marks and grades in the particular subjects and whether he cleared
all the subjects in the semester or not. It is given after 2 or 3 months after
the date of result publication, to all the students attended the exams.
CONSOLIDATED
STATEMENT OF MARKS
A
consolidated statement of marks / sheet is a grade sheet of all the semester of
marks and grades, obtained by the student, stating that he has passed in all
the subjects of the course and is eligible to get the provisional and degree
certificate later. It is given after 2 or 3 months after the date of result
publication, only to the students, who passed in all the subjects of the entire
course.
PROVISIONAL
CERTIFICATE
A
provisional certificate is a certificate issued to the student by the University
of the College, stating that he has completed the course, final semester
examinations and passed all the subjects. It is given after 2 or 3 months after
the date of result publication, only to the students who passed all the
subjects and it’s a temporary degree until the main degree comes after 1 year
from the date of result publication. This is the record proof that the person
is eligible for the award of degree and valid until the degree certificate
comes. The student can use the provisional certificate for the job application
activities, until the degree certificate comes; It’s a temporary arrangement
certificate for the students to take up admission in higher studies and job
opportunities.
DEGREE
CERTIFICATE
A
degree certificate is a certificate issued to the student by the University of
the College, stating that he has completed the course, final semester
examinations and passed all the subjects usually in a convocation ceremony. It
is given after 1 year only to the students who passed all the subjects and it’s
a final permanent degree. This is the record proof that the person has been
awarded the degree in the particular subject and valid the entire life.
SOME DOUBTS AND QUESTIONS ABOUT THE EDUCATIONAL CERTIFICATES (AU)
1. What is the Folio No. in degree grade sheets, consolidated statement of grades and provisional certificate of Anna University? What is the difference between the Serial No. and Folio No.?
2. What is the date (bottom
left side) in degree grade sheets, consolidated statement of grades and
provisional certificate of Anna University? Is it the date when the certificates
were printed or anything else?
3. What is the month and
year present in the degree certificate of Anna University? Is it the period
when the degree was printed or anything else?
4. After getting the
provisional certificate, will the course completion certificate be required
(valid) in future or not? (for the higher studies and job recruitment
processes).
5. After getting the degree
certificate, will the course completion certificate and provisional certificate
be required (valid) in future or not? (for the higher studies and job
recruitment processes).
6. What is migration
certificate, transcript, WES, genuineness verification (within & outside
India)?
7. What is the difference
between transcript and duplicate in certificate (AU)?
8. In case, if a person got
all clear in November 2016 or printed as this ‘month & year’ in the degree
certificate, exam result came in January 2017 and convocation happened in June
2017 means, in which year actually the person became graduate? in 2016 or 2017?
